WHEEL SLIDE PROTECTION SYSTEM
The electronic wheel slide protection, type MPKZ,
controls the rotation of the wagon axles, to prevent
making flat parts on the wheels. The technical
characteristics of MPKZ is fully complying with the UIC
specifications.
The microprocessor-based electronic controller is
designed in modular version, placed in standard 19"
sized box.
The electronic dump valves DEPV100, provide
gradually charging and discharging of the brake
cylinders, in reacting time 20 ms.
The inductive sensors operate synchronized with the
toothed wheel, in all temperature conditions from -40 oC
to +80 oC.
SYSTEM FOR EMERGENCY BRAKING
This system provides activating of the automatic brake and stopping the train, when the Emergency brake handle is pulled down and the brake pipe is quickly discharged through the central exhaust valve NV 3. Its technical characteristics are fully complying with the UIC specifications, such as:
- the activating moment could be
postponed and controlled by the driver;
- the brake pipe is discharged down to
2,5 bar.
AIR TREATMENT
HEATLESS AIR DRYERS
Heatless Air Dryer unit is used for treatment of
compressed air at railway vehicles.
The unit consists of:
High Efficiency Filter, Air Dryer, After Filter, El. Timer
and Draining valve.
Several different types of Air Dryer unit are designed,
Air Dryer unit which fulfill the following project terms:
- Capacity (7 bar) 0,5 ÷ 6 Nm3/min
- Operating pressure 10 ÷ 12 bar
- Max inlet temperature 50oC
- Min inlet temperature 1,5oC
- Ambient temperature - 35oC ÷ 65oC
- Supply voltage 24, 72 or 110 VDC
- Quality of compressed air 1.2.1 (ISO 8573.1)
AIR RESERVOIRS

There are reservoirs in the production program,
with various dimensions and connection, with
volume of 3, up to 250 dm3 and operating pressure
to 10 bar. Their technical characteristics are in
accordance with the regulations for high pressure
vessels.
AIR FILTERS
There are air filters, in the production program, in
various forms, dimensions and quality of
filtration, such as:
-Centrifugal traps
-pipe filters (cartridge, made of synthetical felt
or filter paper)
-panel filters (filter unit - plastic sieve)
There are filters with operating pressure of 10
bar, and connection threads 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", 1".
WINDSCREEN WIPING AND WASHING SYSTEM

The system is consisted of pneumatic devices, which provide the following functions:
- washing of the windscreen, adjusting thedirection of the nozzle;
- simultaneous water spraying and wiping;
- wiping with variable speed and synchronized action of two wiper arms;
- automatically placing the wiper arms in their resting position;
- adjusting the thrust of the wiper arms upon the windscreen;
- manual operating with the wiper arms.
SYSTEM FOR AIR SUSPENSION
This system is typical for the DMUs and EMUs. During
loading and unloading, the levelling valve keeps constant
floor level of the car, by regulating the pressure in the air
springs. The pneumatic signal of this system, along with the
relay valve AKR, is used for variation of the brake ratio.
The protecting valve provides additional levelling of the
coach, in case of the air springs rupture.
SANDING EJECTOR
The sanding ejector is used for locomotives,
electro motor trains and other railway vehicles
for strewing of the rails with sand, if necessary, in
order to increase the friction coefficient between
wheels and rails.
The sanding ejector has the possibility for sand
flow regulation as well as elimination of the sand
compression and condensation in the ejector.
